The Valley InterCommunity Council has been serving older adults in the San Fernando Valley since 1963 — providing nutrition, exercise, wellness, classes, activities, and social interaction to those who need it most.
OUR MISSION
To reduce food insecurity and social isolation among older adults by providing free nutritious hot meals, wellness programs, social activities, and transportation — uplifting and connecting seniors across the San Fernando Valley with compassion, dignity, and care.

OUR JOURNEY
Milestones
Founded as San Fernando Valley Interfaith Council to serve communities in need.
Human Relations Award honored Rabbi Harold M. Schulweis, marking VIC's role as a Valley-wide civic and interfaith convener.
Organized Northridge earthquake remembrance services, including a procession to the Northridge Meadows site on the one-year anniversary.
Co-sponsored the annual Labor Day interfaith service and barbecue with the Valley Labor Political Education Council.
Resumed the Human Relations Awards dinner and launched the Valley Interfaith Clergy Council, convening faith leaders across the region.
Nutrition Program hosted Mother's Day luncheons at Bernardi and Van Nuys–Sherman Oaks Senior Centers for adults 60+.
Received the John Anson Ford Human Relations Award from the LA County Commission on Human Relations.
Delivered over 1,000,000 meals during the COVID-19 pandemic to vulnerable seniors.

Stephanie Galloway
President / CEO
Stephanie Galloway holds a Master's Degree in Social Work and has dedicated her career to serving vulnerable communities with compassion, integrity, and purpose. She brings a wealth of experience in nonprofit leadership, program development, and strategic growth, with a strong focus on equity, dignity, and access for older adults.

Leticia Perez
Director of Operations
Leticia Perez has been a part of VIC for over six years, beginning as a Homebound driver before becoming Information and Assistance Coordinator. A U.S. Army veteran, she channels her commitment to service into building Bernardi Multipurpose Senior Center as a vital community hub.
Garnik Ghazaryan
Director of Nutrition
Garnik Ghazaryan holds a Master's Degree in Nutritional Science and brings over a decade of experience in nutrition and food service management. He leads a dedicated team committed to providing nutritious meals to seniors across the San Fernando Valley.

Robert Winn
ABD Site Director
Robert Winn II brings over 30 years of professional experience at VIC. He served as Transportation Coordinator for three decades and has also held roles as a Mental Health Counselor and Community Relations Director. His commitment to ethical practices and community enrichment elevates every center he serves.

Our passionate staff ensure that clients always get the best possible care. We provide exercise classes, mental health education, and referrals to additional services our clients can access.
