Every weekday, we provide nutrition, classes, activities, exercise, and social support to our clients serving qualifying seniors across the San Fernando Valley.
Community Adult Centers
VIC oversees three multipurpose community centers for older adults in Sherman Oaks, Van Nuys, and Pacoima. Partially funded by the City of Los Angeles Department of Aging, our centers are attractive, safe places that provide social, educational, fitness, and recreational opportunities.

Nutrition Services
We provide nutritionally balanced meals to older adults, families, and individuals throughout the San Fernando Valley. Over 308,000 meals served annually including home-delivered meals for those 60+ years of age.

Transportation
VIC provides transportation assistance to seniors who need help getting to our centers, medical appointments, and essential errands. Our friendly drivers help ensure no senior is left isolated due to lack of transportation.

Research-Backed Wellness
Evidence-based programs effectively enhance health and prevent diseases in older adults. They lead to better quality of life, greater independence, reduced disabilities, and lower costs.
Arthritis Foundation Exercise
Low-impact exercises to increase joint flexibility, range of motion, and muscle strength. Available at different fitness levels over a 6-week program.
Walk With Ease
A walking program developed to help individuals create and implement a walking plan. Manage pain, stay motivated, and exercise safely over 6 weeks.
